Description

'Deslomao' meaning back breaking, is named for the ancient bush Garnacha vines it comes from. These old parcels are between 80 and 100 years of age and extremely low-yielding. After a day working amongst them, the name feels fitting. The wine brings together several small batches: some in centuries-old amphorae, one crafted from the same earth that the vines grow in. Alongside components aged in barrel and stainless steel. The result is a Garnacha of tension and generosity; red fruit and spice lifted by mineral freshness.
